This Privacy Policy explains what information Invora (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and your choices. Invora is a free invoice PDF generator with optional Pro features planned for a later launch. Contact: hello@myinvora.com.
1. What Invora does
Invora lets you create a professional invoice in your browser, preview it live, and download a Letter-size PDF. The Free plan does not require an account. Free PDFs do not include watermarks; a small Invora brand mark may appear on the PDF. Supported currencies include USD, INR, EUR, GBP, CAD, and more, with an optional tax percentage field.
Pro is marked Coming Soon and is expected to add a signed-in workspace with client directory, saved invoices, logo and branding, search and filter, reuse clients, duplicate invoice, and related account features on a yearly plan.
2. Information we collect
Free plan (no account)
When you use the Free invoice tool, the business, client, line-item, tax, and payment-note details you type are processed in your browser so we can show a live preview and generate your PDF. We do not require signup, and we do not intentionally store your invoice content on our servers for Free use.
Like most websites, our hosting or analytics providers may automatically receive basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location. If we use cookies or similar tools, they are for site operation, security, or understanding aggregate usage — not to sell your personal information.
Product feedback
If you email us (for example from the homepage feedback section), we receive whatever you include in that message — typically your email address and the content of your suggestion or support request — so we can reply and improve Invora.
Pro plan (when launched)
When Pro becomes available and you create an account, we may collect and store:
- Account details such as name and email address
- Authentication information (for example a securely stored password hash)
- Saved clients, invoices, branding assets (such as a logo), and search-related data you choose to save
- Billing-related information handled by our payment processor (see Payments below)
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide the invoice form, live preview, and PDF download
- Operate, secure, and improve the website and product
- Respond to support or feedback messages
- When Pro launches: power your saved workspace (clients, history, branding, search)
- Process subscriptions through our payment provider when checkout is available
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Payments
Free use of Invora does not require payment. When Pro checkout launches, payments are expected to be processed by Stripe. Card numbers are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on Invora servers.
5. Sharing of information
We may share limited information with service providers that help us run Invora (for example hosting, email delivery, analytics, or payment processing), only as needed to provide the service. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Invora and its users.
6. Data retention
Free invoice content that stays in your browser is controlled by you (for example by closing the tab or clearing browser data). Support emails we receive are kept as long as needed to handle your request and maintain basic records. When Pro launches, saved account and invoice data will be retained while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for backups, disputes, or legal requirements — or until you request deletion.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping any future account credentials confidential.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you. For Free use with no account, there may be little or no personal invoice data stored by us. To make a request, email hello@myinvora.com.
9. Children’s privacy
Invora is intended for business and professional use. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. International users
Invora may be accessed from different countries. If you use the service from outside the country where our systems or providers operate, your information may be processed in those locations subject to applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes (including when Pro launches). We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Invora after changes means you accept the updated policy.
